About Us

Formed in February, 2019, the International Pediatric Stroke Organization (IPSO) is a group of health professionals, scientists and patient advocates who care about stroke and other cerebrovascular diseases in childhood. We formed out of a research group called the International Pediatric Stroke Study (IPSS).

IPSO brings together experts from around the world who are interested in childhood stroke and stroke recovery. IPSO will share information to medical providers to educate on childhood stroke and stroke recovery. Lastly, IPSO will engage with affected families and advocate for children at risk for stroke or afflicted by stroke.

As part of IPSO’s first community initiative, IPSO has launched the IPSO Community Website. The IPSO Community Website will house IPSO’s very first online news periodical, IPSO Kid Stroke Connections, and also include resources for patients and their families or caregivers.
